   I purchased the HTR-6160 Receiver to build my home theater around it. Up scaling & Up conversion is an awesome feature! It’s a little hard to control, but once you figure out the basics the sky is the limit I would say it’s definitely worth the money. Highly recommend to anyone who looks for the great quality and low price equation! After all, honestly, do you REALLY need those 800$+ receivers? (Posted on 1/6/09)

   I must say the HTR-6160 is one of the best Yamaha receiver amplifier ever made! The cost and quality match perfectly. The receiver lets you to re-map video to audio ports; it has numerous amounts of inputs and outputs. Sound quality is excellent and the automatic setup feature does a perfect job setting levels and EQ. (Posted on 1/6/09)
