The Red-eye Fix function algorithm programmed into the camera automatically eliminates red eye in shoot and play modes, allowing you take a natural portrait photo with no additional effort afterwards.

• High ISO & Noise Reduction Function
With high sensitivity (up to ISO 3200), you'll be able to take clear and properly exposed images even in low light conditions. Plus the use of higher ISO settings can provide action stopping images of children at play or sporting events. The camera also has a very effective noise reduction system, so that even when shooting at high ISO settings, your images will look great.

• Auto Contrast Balance
When the scene is very contrasty, such as when shooting in direct sunlight, the Auto Contrast Balance feature will correct for this by brightening the shadows and toning down the highlights giving your image better balance and providing greater detail - particularly in the shadow areas.

• 14 Scene Modes
The Scene Modes provide optimal camera settings for your particular shooting situation, including easy to select setting for Portrait, Children, Night scene, Backlight, Landscape, Sunset, Dawn, Firework, Snow, Close up, Self, Café, Food and Text. Options such as exposure, color and contrast are automatically adjusted to maximize the image quality for the selected scene to provide a more professional looking image.

• Self Portrait Mode
Taking advantage of the camera's face detection function, a beeping sound notifies users when a face is centered in the frame to help users properly frame self portraits, and this feature can work when there are up to 3 faces in the frame for taking self portrait styled images with friends.

• Color Effect Function
The camera provides seven color effects providing you with a tool for increased creative expression and the ability to enhance the mood of an image. The color effects include Normal, Vivid, Soft, Natural, Warm, Cool, Calm & Classic with additional color adjustments to provide BW, Sepia, Blue, Red, Green, Negative and a Custom effect. You can also add additional effects after the image is shot, including the Color Filter, Shaded effect, Elegant, or even use the Add Noise effect fro more creative images.

• Advanced Movie Mode
The camera can record high quality video and - unique to a digital still camera, allows for the use of the camera's 3x optical zoom while recording video. It can record video at SVGA resolution (800 x 592) with a frame rate of 20 fps, and can also record the more typical VGA and QVGA resolution at 30 or 15 fps. Video is recorded in the highly efficient MPEG-4 format providing high quality video without compromising storage capability. The camera also includes some built-in video editing capability.

• Intelligent 2.7" LCD Display
The large 2.7" LCD display provides superb picture quality with a resolution of 230,000 pixels to support image and video viewing.
